'Tis a New Year

Can you believe it is already the middle of January? It has been 4 months since we opened our doors after Irene and it feels great. Our programs are thriving and people are all smiles when they are here.

The EDGE Skating School is growing with each new session. The adults and children who are enrolled this session are having a great time and becoming better skaters. It is so fun to watch.

This year we are so excited to be hosting three state hockey tournaments and one regional tournament. These youth hockey events bring people to our community from all over the state and New England to meet up with old friends, play great hockey and patronize local businesses. Between February and mid-March The Ice Center will be abuzz with young hockey players and their families so please come down and watch the action. Thanks to Harwood Youth Hockey for building a great program for our youth to take part in.

If you are looking for ways to help us finish some smaller projects please just ask what you can do. We have small painting projects, flooring and bleacher projects and more. You can call us at 802-244-4040 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Things to note

THINGS TO NOTE:

There are a few things we want to bring to our customers' attention. Thanks for your understanding and if you have any questions, please call us at 244-4040 or email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

  • Youth Hockey Parents: We love having your kids play here every week, that is what we are here for! BUT please keep siblings and other kids under control at all times while they are here PLEASE. Too many kids running rampant in the rink during practices makes it hard on other spectators, hard on our staff and is distracting for the players and coaches on the ice. Please help us out and keep an eye on the non-skating children. Thanks!
  • Locker Rooms: As per USA Hockey rules this will be the second year that all locker rooms be locked during game play and under full supervision in between periods. We will be requiring a coach to hand over their car keys in return for a lcoker room key during the youth hockey season. To get the car keys back the locker room must be as neat as it was when they arrived. We strive to give you a clean environment, please help us by doing your part when the kids are finished
  • Puck Bucket: We want to provide pucks for you, our skaters, when you arrive here to play. If the pucks keep disappearing at this rate, we will have to change this policy. PLEASE - use our pucks freely and then return them to the puck bucket provided. We don't want to have to pass on any additional puck cost to you
  • Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: We work hard to recycle all the bottles and cans we get here. We also redeem those worth .05 and put the money towards rink projects that benefit you! Please help us in our environmental quest and use the recycling buckets provided throughout the rink. The big round garbage bins are for garbage. The smaller square buckets next to the grabage cans are for bottles and cans. THANK YOU

One happy skater
