Managers Notes or "Hey, that's my job!"
We thought you might like to know a little more about the "behind the scenes" at The Ice Center. Each week Jay, our Operations Manager and I, Kelly Lilly, Rink Manager, will bring you a little tidbit to give you the inside scoop. Have you always wanted to know something about the rink and how it works? Let us know and we can address it.
Kelly's Corner:
Did you know that we are already scheduling ice for next season? The week after Youth Hockey season ended there were emails and calls flying around about the 2010 / 2011 season and what available ice times were. Because most things around here are cyclical we can pretty much predict who is going to return and what ice times they want. The issue then becomes "what about the new folks?". It is like a huge jigsaw puzzle trying to make sure that everyone gets enough ice time, that there is enough time to make the ice in between sessions and that kids get to bed on time after skating! We work hard to ensure that customers walk away happy (and tired) from a good skate!
I do it because "Hey, that's my job!"
