About Us

The Ice Center is a great example of how dreams can come true. With 8 years and a lot of hard work, The Ice Center, a state of the art ice arena, is now the heart of Waterbury and surrounding towns, bringing together these rural communities in the Green Mountains.

The Ice Center opened its doors in December 2003 and since then, it has been home to many different groups. Located in the Green Mountains, Waterbury, is a perfect central location and considered the "Recreational Crossroads of Vermont". The Ice Center is easily accessible from I-89 and offers many fine eating and lodging establishments in the area.

Our Mission

The Ice Center will provide a safe and caring environment that will bring people of all ages together to share in quality skating. It will strengthen our community by offering constructive recreational choices in a supervised atmosphere fostering self-esteem, character and strong work ethic in our youth. The ice center is a place where young and old can build strong relationships lasting memories and community pride.
